This is a continuation of the list of beloved African skit makers that some of my favorite people and I agreed to and why. https://euphoricrays.com/african-skit-makers-that-we-love/  is the first part. There might be more lists under this title as there are many noteworthy African skit makers.

Many humans use humor as a coping tool through struggles. This coping tool has become a source of livelihood for some who have developed their crafts. They have become celebrated entertainers on various platforms, delivering humor to anyone with a gadget and Internet service.

 

Hilarious African Skit Makers:

Broda Shaggi:

Broda Shaggi is expectedly one of our favorite African skit makers. He portrays the character of a loud-mouthed but endearing individual with a toutish demeanor. His skits often feature hilarious interactions with other characters. His popular catchphrase is “Oya, hit me.”.

 He also creates entertaining and catchy songs which he features in many of his skits.

Lasisi Elenu:

This is one of the celebrated African skit makers that have brought us entertainment by taking on different characters and delivering the intended messages in a relatable fashion. Lasisi Elenu is the character that initially brought this comedian his deserved fame. Being characterized by exaggerated lips and an expressive face adds a unique comedic element to his skits. His hilarious rants, often delivered in a high-pitched voice, are some of the reasons why he is on our list of beloved African skit makers. We are also fans of all the other characters that this comedian plays.

Sabinus:

Few names can rival the clout and popularity of Oga Sabinus, also known as Mr Funny, in the world of African skit makers. He blends wit, relatability, and seemingly effortless humor. Once we see this comedian in the signature blue outfit, we know it is time for a good laugh. Oga Sabinus makes being a comedian look like a walk in the park.

KieKie:

KieKie is rightfully one of the most popular African skit makers. Her character’s sharp-tongued, argumentative banter is hilarious to watch. The fact that she won’t stop until she is outmatched and/or gets into trouble is why we always watch every skit that she features in. Outside of the skit-making scene, she is celebrated for being fashionable.

Shank Comics:

Shank Comics has established himself as a comedic force among celebrated African skit makers with his brilliant brand of humor and relatable storytelling. Shank Comics effortlessly explores various social issues and everyday scenarios, padding them with an effective dose of humor and wit. We have watched this character experience many ridiculously hilarious spiritually inflicted punishments as consequences of his silliness and unwise decisions.

Basketmouth: 

While primarily a highly celebrated stand-up comedian, Basket Mouth has seamlessly joined the world of African skit makers and we are here for it. His comedic genius extends to short-form content, where he delivers quick-witted and entertaining sketches, often alongside some other known comedians.

Sydney Talker:

Sydney Talker is one of our beloved African skit makers for his engaging and humorous sketches. His relatability as a young Nigerian male sharing hilarious experiences with friends and exploring the dating scene makes his skits fun to watch.

Mark Angel Comedy (Mark Angel and Emmanuella):

Mark Angel Comedy is led by the visionary Mark Angel and originally featured the sharp young prodigy, Emmanuella, and others. The group quickly became a household name. Their skits comedically blend insightful social commentary with childlike innocence and some notable lessons. While we do not get to see our favorite Emmanuella in most of the recent skits, we still decided to add the group to our favorite African skit makers for their many brilliant and funny skits.

SamSpedy:

SamSpedy delivers skits that range from humorous takes on relationships to satirical commentaries on current affairs. His consistency and commitment to quality have earned him a spot on our list of favorite African skit makers.

Xploit Comedy:

Xploit Comedy is a comedy group that has gained a spot on our list of favorite African skit makers for its ensemble of talented comedians. Their skits are characterized by a mix of slapstick and clever humor, and we are fans.

Good laughs are necessary for general well-being, and you will quickly find that any of the African skit makers listed above can provide you with exciting humor.
